The following is in summary, not verbatim:
At approximately 1305 hrs., Det. Rooshanfekr (#1445) and I (Det. D. Koletsos #1459) attempted to make contact with aka “Smack” at his last known address in Chicago, Illinois ( ). Det. Rooshanfekr and I were accompanied by Chicago Police Department 11th District Tactical Officers Sorrano (*2792) and Antico (*7572). The initial door knock was met with negative results in speaking with . We left our contact information with a note which requested that call us and cleared from the scene.
A short time later, we received a phone call from the Rosemont Police station, advising us that was back at his last known address. At approximately 1425 hrs., we contacted by phone and advised him that we wished to speak with him. He stated that he would be willing to speak with us.
Det. Rooshanfekr and I arrived back at at approximately 1430 hrs. Upon arrival, we advised that we were conducting a non-custodial interview and that he was free to leave at any time. He stated that he understood.
When asked about his name, stated that he goes by the nickname of “Smack” not “Smacks”. He stated that he had never been to Rosemont. When asked about being at a hotel party on 08 Sept. 17 at the Crowne Plaza, he denied being at the hotel party.
When asked about what Facebook name he goes by, he stated he goes by his actual name of . was unable to provide us with any Facebook images at this time.
We then concluded the interview and left the house.
